Can anything good come from there?

Can anything good come from there? -- A question raised by a Galilean after knowing that the Savior came from Nazarene. A Nazarene is a small village.

Sometimes in our lives we underestimates things we thought that it can't help us to reach our goal. We even see our self not capable of doing things that we think we cannot do. But we can. God can make us do things beyond our capacity. His Word said that we can do all things through Christ Who gave us strength. And that Word is true.

There something in us that are special. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by God then. And all things God made are good. We sometime can't see it but there are great things that will come out in us.

12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—
John 1:12

For me, it's really a privileged that I am called as a child of God. Knowing that He is not just someone we knew but He is the God who created the heaven and the earth. The one who died for our sin. The one who redeemed us from the dead. Isn't it awesome. To become His child has a condition, the word of God says that to all who received Him and to those who believes in His name -- He gave the right to become children of God. Do you want to be one of us?. Believe and received Him as your Lord and personal Saviour. In John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. We also received salvation. Its a gift.

The rights and the life that he offers is an opportunity that everyone should be aware of.

Nothing has been made

"Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." John 1:3

Here's my devotion for today. I've read John 1.

It is clear for me that it is only God Who created everything. It says that without Him nothing was made that has been made. Often time I disregard of what God is and what He has done in my live. I should understand that in the beginning God has crafted me in His own image and likeness. The wisdom and understanding, comes from God. Things that I am working for, I've accomplished, victories, priviledges, favor etc. comes from God. He owns everything.

I should put it in mind that nothing has been made without Him.
